Edgar is an Epic Brawler in Brawl Stars who was initially available as a special gift during Brawlidays 2020 or could be unlocked through the Starr Road. He possesses a unique combination of moderately high burst damage, exceptional mobility, and blazing fast movement speed, but he has low health and a limited attack range. Edgar's Trait is what sets him apart, as it allows his Super to charge itself automatically over time. This means that with patience, his Super can be ready for use without requiring any additional actions from the player. In combat, Edgar delivers swift and powerful attacks with two consecutive short-ranged punches. These punches have an incredibly fast cooldown and reload speed, allowing him to dish out damage rapidly. What's more, each successful hit on an enemy Brawler slightly heals Edgar, adding a touch of sustain to his playstyle. Edgar's Super is a quick jump that propels him over obstacles, granting him a significant speed boost upon landing. This Super ability greatly enhances his mobility, enabling him to swiftly close the gap on enemies, escape dangerous situations, or traverse the map with ease. To further augment his abilities, Edgar possesses two Gadgets. The first Gadget, Let's Fly, provides a substantial boost to his Trait's Super-charge for a brief period of time. This can be a game-changer, allowing Edgar to unleash his Super more frequently and surprise opponents with his agile movements. The second Gadget, Hardcore, grants Edgar a shield that absorbs incoming damage. Although the shield decays over time, it provides valuable protection in critical moments. Edgar's Star Powers enhance his capabilities even further. The first Star Power, Hard Landing, empowers his Super, causing it to deal moderate damage to enemies in the landing area. This makes Edgar's Super not only a means of mobility but also a potent offensive tool. The second Star Power, Fisticuffs, increases the amount Edgar heals per punch, bolstering his survivability in battle. With his high burst damage, exceptional mobility, and self-sustainability, Edgar excels at diving into the thick of the action, quickly eliminating vulnerable targets, and escaping before his opponents can react. His ability to charge his Super passively over time gives him an edge in prolonged engagements. However, Edgar's low health and short attack range require careful positioning and timing to maximize his effectiveness on the battlefield.
